THE IDEAL CANDIDATE 

The facilities team are growing, we have a brand-new trade-qualified and hands-on Facilities Supervisor role to join the Facilities Team. As the Facilities Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of day-to-day and long-term facilities management across our new Melbourne assets.    

You will be working closely with Facilities Managers and Facilities Technicians to provide the best services to our residents. An exciting opportunity to make a difference.

The Facilities Supervisor will provide on-the-ground leadership to the on-site team, coordinating activities such as deliveries and completion of tasks, ‘hands-on’ repairs, maintenance, and supervision of the Facilities Technicians. All are underpinned by identifying ways to provide a better experience for our residents both now and in the future. 

To be successful you will have: 

  • A trades background or relevant tertiary qualification is desired.  
  • Previous experience working with third-party contractors (desirable)  
  • An understanding of general building services i.e., fire, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and vertical transport  
  • Worked in a position managing a team where you have had to take a high level of responsibility  
  • Be proactive, committed and with high attention to detail  
  • Strong communication skills that promote positive interactions with stakeholders and residents  
  • Knowledge of safe and efficient operating procedures  
  • Experience in leading and training a team to provide amazing customer experiences  
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all tasks 

Please note: Shifts are from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm 

There may be some Saturdays and occasional Sundays and public holidays
