We currently have the capacity to provide a home to over 18,000 students (and are growing) and we don't simply provide a bed and roof; we also provide a unique, amazing experience and a safe environment to help students make the most of their studies. Scape has also commenced our first Build To Rent development, with big aspirations to grow in this market as it matures in Australia.

We have an exciting opportunity for a driven candidate to join the team as the ESG Manager, supporting the delivery of our ambitious ESG targets.  In this role, you will be responsible for managing Scape’s ESG data, sustainability reporting and GRESB response. You will also assist in respond to investor ESG queries, manage consultants, address ESG risk and compliance matters, and drive continuous improvement to hit our ESG targets.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE 

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: 

  • Tertiary qualification, preferably in a discipline related to sustainability in the built environment
  • Minimum 3 years post qualification experience; 5-10+ years experience highly regarded
  • Desirable: relevant additional qualifications and experience with key ESG rating & reporting systems e.g.: GRESB, GRI, Green Star Accredited Professional (GSAP), Climate Active, NABERS, ISO14001
