ABOUT THE ROLE 

Ready for the good stuff?

Scape are seeking an experienced, friendly and energetic Casual Barista to join the passionate Scape Eatery team, Melbourne CBD, to deliver brilliant customer service and insta-worthy coffee.

The Barista is responsible for the safe and efficient operations of the café, including but not limited to;

• Creation of beverages and food items for sale to the public
• Engaging with guests and staff in a positive and appropriate manner to ensure overall satisfaction of guests and team
• Effectively manage food safety processes and record keeping ensuring compliance with EHO requirements
• Stock receival and rotation
• Opening and closing of the café as required
• and any other reasonable duties as directed by management.

This is a casual role averaging 15 hour per week with scope for up to 35 hours per week for holiday cover and peak trade rosters

ABOUT YOU

• Barista trained
• Insta worthy coffee-making techniques
• Cafe experience in a busy environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks when everyone wants (needs) COFFEE at the same time.
• Must have a high standard of hygiene and food safety regulations and a current Food Safety Supervisor certification
