The Role – A Day in the Life of Scape’s Student Experience Manager
As our Student Experience Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of the community—bringing people together through dynamic events and creative initiatives. You’ll work closely with internal teams and student leaders to ensure our program is impactful, inclusive, and constantly evolving with what students need most.
Here’s a taste of what your day could look like:
- Develop and deliver engaging student events and experiences across our properties.
- Lead student engagement initiatives that foster inclusion, wellbeing, and connection.
- Partner with local organisations, student ambassadors, and resident teams to enhance program reach.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and wellness teams to align the program with business goals.
- Respond to student feedback and continuously improve the program based on evolving needs.
- Use your creativity to shape activations that reflect student diversity and interests.
- Supervise student volunteers or ambassadors and coach them to deliver successful initiatives.
- Track event performance, engagement, and outcomes to support reporting and improvement.
What Makes You Successful
You’re energetic, creative, and people-focused—with a natural ability to connect with students and young adults. You thrive in fast-paced environments and have a deep passion for creating meaningful, inclusive experiences that leave a lasting impression.
Here’s what sets you apart:
- You hold a relevant degree and have 2+ years’ experience in events, community, or engagement roles.
- You bring leadership experience, and you’re confident guiding volunteers or casual staff.
- You have strong communication skills and can connect with people from all walks of life.
- You’re highly organised and love juggling multiple projects at once.
- You have a strong customer service mindset and can manage conflict with professionalism.
- You’re a team player, but you’re also confident working independently.
- You bring a passion for wellbeing, diversity, inclusion, and creating safe spaces.
- You’re willing to complete a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
