THE ROLE
Reporting to the Wellness & Hygiene Manager, the role of Public Area Cleaner (Wellness & Hygiene) is a full-time position located in Brisbane
You will be responsible for the day-to-day presentation and overall aesthetic appearance of our beautiful Scape assets in Brisbane, key responsibilities are as followed:
- Daily cleaning of public areas including using a carpet cleaning machine and floor scrubbing machine in common rooms, lounges, theatre, outdoor terraces, gym and laundry
- Being fully aware with health and safety obligations
- Hours of work will generally be Mon – Fri starting between 6am and 8am, with some occasional weekend work as required
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are seeking enthusiastic self-starters with the following skills and experience:
- High attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and multitask
- Can work in team or individual setting
- Ability to work with and relate to young adults while also maintaining professional and cultural sensitivity and boundaries
- 1-2 years' experience as a public area cleaner in a large commercial environment or room attendant in a 4 – 5 star hotel environment
- Experience using large machinery including carpet cleaner and floor scrubber
