THE ROLE 

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Student Event Coordinator to join a team of successful legends. As the Student Event Coordinator, you will fill our monthly event calendar with fun and fulfilling events as well as be the first point of contact for our brilliant Student Ambassador team to mentor and continuously develop their skills.  

This is an exciting and varied role where you will be responsible for the design and execution of a suite of events and experiences, aimed at broadening minds, strengthening skills, and opening doors for our student residents in addition you will: 

  • Prepare monthly engagement reports. 
  • Create engaging content for our events and activities on our socials 
  • Brainstorm exciting new events for the months ahead 
  • Escalate, manage and resolve incidents.  
  • Provide leadership to our student ambassadors and be a real team player 
  • Update attendance trackers and be involved in the strategy  

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE 

You will be a passionate and motivated team member with a desire for success. You will have the following skills, attributes and experiences: 

  • Degree qualified with at least 2 years’ experience in a customer service/event management 
  • Demonstrated empathy with students and young adults, together with knowledge and understanding of the challenges affecting such students 
  • Leadership and supervisory experience and skills 
  • Ability to document and communicate information accurately, clearly and in a timely manner 
  • A focus on service and quality with the passion to deliver outstanding experiences 

Please note: The successful candidate must be willing to undertake a National Police Check and a Working with Children check
