THE ROLE

As an IT Support Graduate at Scape Australia, you will be looking to kick start your career in technology and this role will give you the opportunities to discover where you want to go. You will work as a part of our Sydney team supporting a national portfolio of properties ensuring the workforce are supported by a modern, secure and reliable suite of technology platforms and hardware. Along with supporting our corporate team, within our properties are also various platforms and systems that are key to our student, guest and team members wellbeing and on-site experience. This role will ensure that those systems are proactively monitored and supported to ensure maximum uptime, security posture and reliability, as well as ensuring the staff members of the properties and corporate teams are supported.

Please note: All roles at Scape HQ require a 5-day onsite presence at our stunning offices in Sydney CBD.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You are a confident, detail-oriented, and efficient IT Support Graduate looking to start your career in Tech. You are a self-starter, someone who sees a problem and proactively gets to work on fixing it. Additionally, you have:

  • Strong Communication Skills: Able to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to solving user issues.
  • Basic IT Knowledge: Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS), software installation, and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrates critical thinking, quick response times, and logical problem-solving steps.
  • Attention to Detail: Thorough and accurate in documenting incidents and tracking resolutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Works well with colleagues and knows when to escalate issues to higher-level support.
  • Adaptability and Willingness to Learn: Open to rapidly learning new technologies and adapting to new processes.
  • Time Management Skills: Can prioritize multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic Understanding of ITIL: Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident management (bonus if formally trained).
  • Technical Certifications or Relevant Degree: Possesses an IT-related degree or entry-level certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals).
