About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Lead, Facilities and Assets to join us in providing effective leadership and operational management of Ruah’s properties, buildings and infrastructure assets and working collaboratively to support workplace, health and safety best practices.
The Service Lead, Facilities and Assets is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic property and asset management plans and will include managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders regarding facilities and assets management services including fleet vehicles, security and other related property, asset and safety services.
The Service Lead, Facilities and Assets will operate with a high level of autonomy and is expected to display significant initiative, sound judgement, and reliable leadership and management in carrying out the requirements of the position.
This is a full-time permanent position, primarily based in Northbridge, WA.
What we’re looking for
The successful applicants will be required to meet the following criteria:
- Proven Facilities/Building Management experience, preferably within the community services sector.
- Demonstrated experience preparing and managing facilities strategic and business plans and budgets.
- Project management experience in managing complex projects across multiple site locations with competing priorities.
- Well-developed IT skills with an emphasis on managing electronic facilities and vehicle management systems and data analytic tools.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders as well as the ability to negotiate effectively and work through issues constructively.
- Demonstrated staff management experience.
- Willingness and ability to travel (utilise own vehicle) and work at sites across the Perth Metropolitan, Peel region and occasional travel to the Midwest.
The following criteria are considered desirable:
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of diversity and social inclusion- including gender, sexuality, disability, cultural, age, and linguistic diversity and Aboriginal culture.
- Substantial experience using Microsoft Office products and relevant industry software and programs.
