We’re passionate about continuous learning and offer exciting opportunities to engage with industry leaders and cutting-edge technology.

But wait, there’s more – you’ll be part of an energetic, supportive team that thrives on collaboration and celebrates success together. At RMIT Online, we grow together, back each other, and always look for ways to make a big impact.

Who Is RMIT Online?

A subsidiary of RMIT University, RMIT Online provides world-class digital learning experiences at the forefront of the future of work. We are a passionate and nimble team dedicated to creating a ‘community of lifelong learners, successfully navigating the world of work.’

Teaming up with industry thought leaders and experts, we deliver the best in structured, flexible online education using the latest digital tools and technologies.

We’re not just another online education provider; we’re pioneers in delivering future-ready skills through our Future Skills portfolio. Our mission? To help people get ahead in their careers and lives.

Let’s Talk About You.

You’re a people person who knows how to close a sale without ever being pushy – no one likes a sales-shark. You genuinely care about the customer experience and are passionate about matching people with the right solutions for their needs.

Here’s what makes you a perfect fit:

  • Sales Superstar: You’ve got a proven record of hitting sales targets and KPIs. You’re persuasive but consultative, focusing on quality outcomes for everyone involved.
  • Organised and Proactive: You know how to juggle priorities, maintain accurate records, and keep your workflow humming along smoothly.
  • Customer-Centric: You prioritise exceptional service, ensuring every potential student feels heard and supported throughout their enrolment journey.
  • Collaborative: You thrive in a team setting where success is celebrated collectively.
  • Skilled Communicator: Whether it’s over the phone, via email, or face-to-face, you communicate with clarity, empathy, and professionalism.

Sounds Great! Let’s Talk More About The Role.

As an Enrolment Advisor, you’ll play a key role in guiding potential students through the enrolment process for RMIT Online’s Future Skills courses. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Making on average about 50 outbound calls to warm leads per day and managing an effective sales pipeline.
  • Engaging with prospective students to understand their goals and matching them with the right course.
  • Achieving enrolment targets and quality metrics while maintaining exceptional service standards.
  • Using your consultative sales skills to foster trust and encourage students to take the next step in their learning journey.
  • Keeping our CRM (Salesforce) up to date and working collaboratively with your team to achieve shared goals.

You’ll be selling courses and degrees that genuinely change lives while developing your sales skills in a growing organisation. It’s a perfect opportunity for someone with high-volume phone sales or fast-paced retail experience to take the next step in their career. Plus, you’ll have input on team strategy and product insights – your ideas and contributions will be valued.

The Team & Hybrid Vibe:

Our team is made up of 12 fantastic people led by our Enrolments Manager, working closely with our Head of Acquisitions. Some team members have been here for over 5 years, while others are just 6 months in, so there’s a wealth of knowledge to lean on and plenty of fresh perspectives too. We’re big on banter and even bigger on helping each other succeed – a good sense of humour is non-negotiable.

We have a weekly half-hour "Gang Hang" catch-up every Tuesday afternoon, where we unwind, chat, or play a game. When we are gathering in person there is always good coffee, plenty of laughs and possibly even grabbing lunch together.

The team gets together in the office for meaningful connection and important gatherings, which is approximately twice per month, but with flexibility for more or less. When welcoming new starters, we love to make it special – you can expect a warm in-person introduction, a bit of fun, and a group trip to our favourite noodle spot!

We also come into the office for Connection Sprints when the whole company gathers for two full days per quarter. It's a great way to learn more about what is happening in the business, learn together, celebrate together and get to know colleagues across the whole company better - it's a real vibe that we all look forward to!

The Finer Details:

  • Salary: $62,400 Base + 11.5% Super + Uncapped Commission (OTE $90–120k+).
  • Location: 222 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne (remote/hybrid).
  • Onboarding and Induction: In the office 3 days per week over 2 weeks with flexibility
