About the Role

We’re excited to welcome a Sales and Customer Success Administrator to our Workforce Development (WFD) team! This newly created role is your chance to be part of a dynamic group that’s driving real change in the digital skills space. You’ll be providing vital admin and operational support to our Sales and Customer Success teams, making sure everything runs like clockwork. Reporting to the Head of Workforce Development Sales and Customer Success, you’ll help streamline processes, manage key accounts, and keep things moving, all while making a positive impact on our clients and their learners.

As part of the WFD team, you’ll be managing everything from updating our processes and templates in Confluence to supporting the team with account setup and cohort creation in Salesforce. You’ll also help ensure a seamless learner journey by enrolling users and preparing reports for both clients and learners. Contracts, CRM admin support, lead allocation—if it’s admin, you’ll be on it. Whether it’s troubleshooting issues or helping to arrange team travel and meetings, you’ll be the go-to for keeping our operations running smoothly. And in true RMIT Online style, you’ll always be on the lookout for ways to improve how we do things!

About You

You’re someone who thrives in an administrative role and knows how to keep everything running smoothly. With at least a year of experience under your belt (ideally in a B2B or sales environment), you’ve developed excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with ease.

You’re proficient in the Microsoft Office suite—especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint—and have worked with CRM systems like Salesforce. Communication is one of your strengths, and you can write an email or pick up the phone with equal confidence. You’re also pretty tech-savvy, comfortable using tools like Slack, Zoom, and Confluence.

Most importantly, you’re proactive and love problem-solving. Whether it’s streamlining processes or jumping in to help a teammate, you’re always ready to pitch in. Oh, and if you have a sense of humour and grace under pressure, we’ll get along just fine!

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience in an administrative role (ideally B2B or sales).
  • Strong organizational skills, with an ability to juggle tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce (CRM).
  • Great communication skills, with confidence across email, phone, and in-person.
  • A love of problem-solving and a proactive approach to work.
  • Experience with digital tools like Slack, Zoom, and Confluence would be a bonus.
  • And a sense of humour, of course! We like to keep things light, even when it gets busy.

Our Hybrid Work Vibe and Team

At RMIT Online, you’ll be part of a team that’s genuinely making a difference. We’re not just talking about business growth—we’re shifting the dial on digital skills across Australia. Our hybrid working model gives you the flexibility to spend 2-3 days in the office, with the rest of the week working from the comfort of home.

As we build out our function we take time to celebrate wins, which come in the form of new sales, new or improved processes, or great outcomes delivered for our customers. The team loves to get together for a regular coffee run when we’re in the office and an informal lunch every few weeks. We use our Slack channel to share our weekend highlights at the start of each week and which song we’re vibing every Friday.

So, if you’re looking for a role where you can grow, learn, and make an impact—while still having a laugh—this is the place for you!

Here’s how to apply:

If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you! Join us on our mission to create a future-ready workforce and make a real impact, all while working with a great bunch of people.

Some might think cover letters are outdated, but we see them as a test of your attention to detail—a critical skill for this role! So, tell us:

  • Why you’re perfect for this role and why you want to work with RMIT Online.
  • Can you share an example of a time when you improved an administrative process or solved a problem in a creative way? How did it impact your team’s efficiency or success?
  • If you could take any course—on any topic at all—what would it be and why?
