Tell Me About the Team and a Typical Work Week

Our team thrives on collaboration, adaptability, and a healthy dose of humour. Here’s what a typical week might look like:

  • Monday: Start with a team check-in to plan the week’s activities, including social media activity, blog/website content and community management. Think of it as our strategy huddle, minus the pom-poms.
  • Tuesday & Thursday: Optional in-office days for face-to-face meetings and team-building activities. This is when the best reality TV gossip gets shared, and spontaneous fun happens—attendance isn’t mandatory, so feel free to work from home in your PJs if you prefer.
  • Wednesday: Every fortnight, join the PR check-in with our agency to track media campaigns. It's like our bi-weekly tea party, but with fewer crumpets and more metrics.
  • Throughout the Week: Engage in tasks such as connecting with external stakeholders for events and sponsorships, coordinating with the CRM team on email comms, and liaising with our creative agency on a new video. Be prepared for a bit of chaos—one minute you might be planning an event, and the next, responding to an urgent media opportunity. Flexibility and quick thinking are key—think of it as professional yoga for your brain.

Our team love hot chips, celebrating birthdays with giant cakes, and karaoke sessions. Anyone who can discuss reality shows with enthusiasm will fit right in. We're a fun-loving, hard-working, cake-eating, karaoke-singing bunch.

Adaptability and strong interpersonal skills are key, as the role involves frequent interaction with various stakeholders. If you’re ready for a fast-paced environment with a side of laughter, this is the place for you.
