With over 1,500 team members Australasian-wide, we’re passionate about creating spaces that communities love.

We’re now on the lookout for a Hammer Hand to join our Auckland Projects Team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll be part of a skilled and collaborative team working on a range of high-profile outdoor construction and landscaping projects. Your work will be visible across the region and regularly recognised by the public for its quality.

You’ll get involved in tasks such as:

  • Minor outdoor construction and building works
  • Concrete work, paving, fencing, and retaining wall construction
  • Hard and soft landscaping
  • Supporting project delivery to ensure it's on time and up to our high standards

What We’re Looking For

You’ll bring practical building experience, ideally from a construction background, and be confident operating small machinery including diggers. We’re looking for someone who’s reliable, adaptable, and ready to get stuck in.

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:

  • A full driver’s licence with WTR endorsements (Class 2 is a bonus!)
  • Proven experience working on-site, meeting deadlines and staying within budget
  • A solid work ethic and a willingness to take on a range of tasks
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a strong sense of teamwork
  • Good knowledge of health and safety practices – keeping yourself, your team, and the public safe is key
  • A Site Safe Passport and a trade background (these are a plus, but not essential)

What We Can Offer You

As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work with other professionals, gain further knowledge and experience, and develop your career in horticulture. We offer regular work hours, a performance-based salary that is reviewed annually, and a $300 wellness benefits. You'll also receive a work phone that is permitted for personal use.

If you’re someone who would take pride in keeping natural spaces tidy, safe, and accessible, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today and join us in making a positive impact on Auckland’s outdoor spaces.

🚨 In accordance with our Drug & Alcohol Policy, the successful candidate will be required to undergo and pass a pre-employment drug test.
