Group Fitness Instructor

About the Centre

The Macleod Recreation Centre is a facility that offers a wide variety of programs for all. The centre comprises of a fully equipped gymnasium (electronic cardio equipment, machine weights and free weights), Group Fitness, fully equipped Gymnastic facility, Dance studio, 2 program rooms (used for a variety of programs and services), basketball court and tennis courts.

About the role

As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for leading a variety of group fitness classes and coaching a wide range of clients. You will use your exceptional communication skills to instruct and demonstrate the benefits of participating in our classes.

This is a casual position with an hourly rate starting from $65.64 + Super & Y Benefits.

As a Group Fitness Instructor you will be a highly motivated individual with a passion for health and fitness. You will possess exceptional communication skills, have a deep understanding of various training styles and methods, and will be able to cater to the needs of clients in our classes.

Essential Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Fitness or approved equivalent
• Maintain current AUSactive registration
• HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
• HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
• Experience in a similar group fitness instruction role will be highly regarded.
