About the Pools
Corangamite Shire operates six outdoor swimming pools - Camperdown, Cobden, Lismore, Skipton, Terang and Timboon. Whether it's a dip to cool off, a splash for fun, learning to swim or lap swimming, users will not be disappointed with the range of activities and programs at each of the pools.
About the Roles
Duty Manager
As a Duty Manager you will have delegated authority of the Centre Manager, and will maintain a broad knowledge of centre programs and services whilst at the same time managing a range of centre functions whilst on shift which may include;
- Maintaining a focus on ‘Big Picture’ issues Centre wide
- Maintain a working knowledge and understanding of Centre’s Emergency Action Plan
- Working autonomously as well as being an active leader
Pool Coordinator
The pool coordinator is an important part of the facility leadership team. Coordinators manage and lead teams of employees in assigned areas and ensure that the delivery of the programs and services meets agreed standards.
They will lead, inspire, and motivate teams through clear and achievable team goals and ensure high standards of implementation of Policies and Procedures.
Coordinators assist the Manager by working as part of the Manager on Duty roster, where they provide support to customers and staff across all areas of the facility.
These are casual positions with starting hourly rates of $39.05 + Super.
Essential Qualifications
- Aquatic Technical Operator Certificate
- Aquatic Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
