About the Role: As a Merchandise Allocator, you’ll play a key role in maximizing category profit and sales by ensuring the right products are available in the right place at the right time—whether in-store or online.

What You’ll Do: 

Sales & Financial Performance

  • Support category teams in achieving sales, gross profit, and inventory targets.
  • Optimize profitability through strategic inventory management and range performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage inventory within KPIs and guidelines 

Inventory Allocation Management

  • Use allocation tools like JDA Replenishment to ensure products are allocated and replenished accurately and on time.
  • Maintain product lifecycles and actively monitor aged inventory to drive sell-through.
  • Balance inventory across stores and adhere to replenishment timelines and processes.
  • Ensure Trade Partners receive accurate forecasting information 

Communication

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates and insights into inventory needs.
  • Respond to queries promptly and contribute to discussions in Category Champion meetings
  • Deliver clear and engaging weekly communication to stores

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Proven experience, within a similar role, in a large retail environment (100+ stores) managing stock allocation, replenishment, and initial allocations
  • Strong analytical skills to address understock/overstock issues, produce detailed reporting, and respond to store-level queries.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build effective, working relationships both internally and externally
  • High degree of computer literacy
