We have an outstanding opportunity to join the Asset Management team in the exciting and rewarding role of Project Manager based at our Invercargill Office.
You will be a self-starter who is customer focused, well organised and commercially astute.
As a Project Manager you will be responsible for managing electrical distribution projects throughout the project lifecycle from initiation, contract inception, through planning, design, estimation, work pack generation to allow field teams to execute works, commissioning and closure. You will be accountable for commercial success of your projects from inception to project closeout.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills
- Hold a relevant electrical or engineering qualification.
- At least three (3) years’ experience within the electricity distribution industry, with experience in project / contract planning or management and maintenance scheduling.
- Ability to prioritise workload with sound planning and organisational skills.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work as part of a wide term to deliver projects.
- Keeping up to date with relevant standards and regulatory requirements of electricity industry.
- Ability to ensure work is accurately scoped, planned and delivered.
- Commercial acumen.
- Electrical design, simulation and drafting, ideally in the distribution sector.
- Understanding of Quality Assurance and document control processes.
- Methodical around standardisation of processes.
- Excellent communicator, articulated, confident and comfortable presenting detailed information in laymen terms to customers.
