The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our technical team as an Apprentice Cable Jointer based in Invercargill.
As an apprentice you will need to complete an industry training programme to achieve your National Certificate in Electricity Supply (Cable Jointer Level 4) and once qualified, be willing to continue to build and strengthen your skills throughout your career.

About you
We’re looking for highly motivated individuals, who are committed to learning and enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather and conditions.
We are looking for people who:
- Have an understanding or interest in learning about the electricity industry.
- Is eager to learn new practical skills.
- Sound numeracy and literacy skills.
- Hold a Class 1 New Zealand Drivers licence (minimum restricted)
- Hold a NCEA Level 2 or equivalent level of achievement.
- A strong team player and contributor.
- Up front and honest
- Really want to make a difference within a company who encourages growth and development and a can-do attitude of “Do it once, do it right”
Prior experience in the industry is not essential and training will be provided to ensure you’re able to work safely and efficiently.
