About the role
We are looking for someone to provide complex financial modelling and analytical solutions for the business.
You will take ownership of the Powerco’s corporate modelling services, including maintaining and developing Powerco’s 30-year forecast model for valuation and strategic management. In this role you will provide financial modelling and analysis services across the business for existing and new business opportunities. Your star quality is the ability to provide sound commercial and business advice from modelling data and analysis.
The ideal person will have a proven expertise in financial modelling and analysis, good knowledge and understanding of our industry, strong business acumen, excellent modelling skills and a strong internal and external customer focus.
The successful applicant should enjoy being part of a team and working collaboratively with others to deliver optimum outcomes for the business.
You will need
- A relevant Tertiary Qualification
- Well-developed skills in financial modelling and analysis
- Significant relevant work experience in this area, and experience related to the regulated Electricity or Gas Distribution businesses would be a significant advantage
- Demonstrated problem solving ability
- Sound Functional/Technical skills – A reliable expert for technical matters
- Ability to communicate technical matters concisely and clearly
