About the role

The purpose of the Solutions Specialist role is to co-design solutions with key positions (e.g. Solution Architects, Business Analysts) and then work with cross-functional delivery teams to deliver the solution.

Reporting to the Solutions Development Lead, this role is part of Powerco’s wider Business Transformation function and will be pivotal in the successful delivery of our transformation programmes of work.

  • You will be part of a supportive team made up of Solutions Specialists, Integration Specialists and Developers.
  • Contribute to the creation of solutions to business problems
  • Act as the technical lead for the implementation of solutions within a delivery team
  • Where third party vendors are involved, oversee vendor solution design, implementation and operational handover.
  • Where required, use technical expertise to build solutions.

About you

To be a success in this role, you will need:

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with delivery teams to guide solutions.
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in solution design, development and implementation. 
  • Flexibility and willingness to expand knowledge in different areas (technical and non-technical).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to take business problems and create customer-focused solutions.

It would be ideal, but not necessary, if you have any :

  • Salesforce technical knowledge
  • Azure and AWS exposure
