Power Assets Fleet Manager

Purpose of the Role
Your primary role will be to lead of team responsible for managing Powerco’s non-overhead line electricity assets. You will provide effective asset management expertise to ensure the safe and reliable operation of our power asset fleets, such as transformers, switchgear, cables and secondary systems.
Key components of the role:
- Leadership – fostering an engaged, high performing and collaborative culture
- Asset management of the power asset fleets
- Investment planning
- Specialist engineering and subject matter support
Skills and Experience
A background in the electricity industry, coupled with experience in fleet management or investment planning would put you to the top of our list. We’re also keen to hear from candidates with solid people leadership experience and a background in engineering and/or asset management. Your experience will ensure you use your technical, commercial and risk skills to make decisions. You will also demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and both internal and external stakeholders.
