About the team
With a focus on managing network and asset reliability risks the newly formed Reliability Team within Electricity Delivery plays a pivotal role within Powerco to help deliver a reliable network to our customers. The team works with all functions across Powerco, from design to planning, execution and operations ensuring system risks are managed and prioritised.
The team is actively involved in:
- Performance trends and analytics
- Information quality improvements
- Vegetation and maintenance strategies
- Maintenance quality and execution
- Engineering support
About the role
We are looking for a detail orientated reliability engineer who enjoys getting stuck into understanding and anticipating problems. The role requires a strong understanding of electricity networks and a practical approach to solving challenging problems and improving the way we deliver service to our customers.
You will have a well-rounded engineering background and of course be tech savvy and an eye for detail. Experience in asset management, maintenance strategies and root cause analysis is essential with project management experience putting you in good standing to turn around solutions and embed change within short timeframes.
This is a new role so we are looking for someone who could hit the ground running. If you are excited by working alongside stakeholders to leverage your natural curiosity, passion for learning and collaboration skills to enable working smarter outcomes then you’ve found your role.
