About the role
As a Gas Works Delivery Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate the delivery of customer-initiated works, third-party requests, routine maintenance, and reactive repairs within Powerco’s network. You will act as a critical link between Powerco and its Service Providers, facilitating seamless work scheduling, technical oversight, and stakeholder communication to uphold service excellence.
Reporting to the Field Team Leader, this is a high-impact and influential role with loads of variety and plenty of diverse stakeholder engagement. Within our highly collaborative model, you will be instrumental in establishing the right things to work on, fostering high-quality decisions, and ensuring the work is delivering the required value to the business. Think Safety, Reliability, and Innovation in Gas Operations.
To be a success in this role, you will need:
· Strong relationship management skills to effectively collaborate with Powerco’s Service Providers and other external stakeholders, ensuring seamless work scheduling and communication.
· Proven experience in the gas or utility construction industry, with a solid understanding of NZ construction regulations and requirements.
· Excellent problem-solving abilities to support technical queries and issues during the planning and execution of customer and third-party works.
· Effective job coordination and supervision skills to oversee the delivery of scheduled and reactive maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
· Strong communication and negotiation abilities to manage pricing, contracts, and documentation for customer and third-party works.
· A proactive approach to emergency response and incident management, providing on-call support and reporting to mitigate risks and maintain network integrity.
