About the Role:

As a Solutions Engineer (Telecommunications), you’ll be hands-on with critical communication systems, learning from experienced engineers while making a real impact. You’ll support the smooth operation of our telecommunications network and get involved in exciting projects that drive continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do:

• Support Projects: Help senior engineers design, plan, and implement communication projects.
• Technical Support: Set up new communication sites and troubleshoot network issues.
• Hands-On Maintenance: Update firmware, maintain equipment, and keep our systems running smoothly.
• Network Involvement: Work with systems like:
• Microwave point-to-point radio
• SCADA Telemetry VHF/UHF radio
• DMR Tier 3 radio
• Cellular radio
• Juniper MPLS “PTN” network
• Cisco substation LAN networks
• DC power supply systems
• General electronic systems
• Learn and Grow: Build your skills through hands-on work, certifications, and field experience.

What We’re Looking For:

• A curious, motivated mindset with a desire to learn and grow.
• Ability to follow instruction, and then as understanding increases, to work more independently. Basic technical skills and a knack for problem-solving.
• Great communication skills—you’ll be working with both technical and non-technical people.
• Qualifications or certifications like CCNA or JCNA (preferred but not essential).
• An interest in ICT networking (like Cisco and Juniper systems).
• A team player who’s keen to get stuck in and make a difference.
