If you're an engineer looking for your first step into the electrical industry, it's time to join the fast-paced, exciting company that powers NZ's largest electricity distribution network.

Based in New Plymouth or Palmerston North this is an opportunity for an asset strategy and investments role with a large and successful company – and one who has the most overhead lines in the country, at that. This is an ideal development role, which ensures the effective performance, maintenance and timely renewal of our asset fleet – sounds good?

You will provide effective asset investment for Powerco’s asset fleets ensuring that the assets perform in accordance with Powerco’s requirements over their full expected lives.

Let's talk about you. If you are looking for a career in Asset Fleet Management, we have an exciting development opportunity for an entry level Asset Engineer. You'll likely have a degree or a Diploma in electrical engineering under your belt. You'll also have a keen eye for details and will be no stranger to presenting a report or two.

Life is good here at Powerco. You'll join a fun, tight-knit group of dedicated, passionate people and play an important role in a company that's a major contributor to the community. In addition to competitive salary offerings, generous leave allocations and health and wellness packages, you’ll also get the satisfaction of playing an important part in helping us deliver an essential service to our communities.

If you're after a career within the New Zealand electrical industry, get in touch, and let's talk about how you can join us at Powerco.
