Today, we’re consistently ranked as one of the largest home builders in Australia – building over 2000 homes each year. With a focus on transparency, affordability, and customer care, we’re a volume builder dedicated to creating better, happier and healthier environments for families across Queensland.

We’ve got a goal to deliver 10,000+ homes between 2025 - 2030 by being the most trusted builder of homes and communities in Australia.

We're growing and so is our team! We're looking for a People and Culture Coordinator to join our national team and support our people initiatives.

The role:

Based in our office at Springwood, this is a true generalist role where no two days are alike. You’ll enjoy a dynamic mix of tasks, supporting our national business through a broad range of impactful P&C activities and programs.

Working with a team of fun, collaborative and always ready to roll up their sleeves HR professionals, you’ll have all of the support and development you need to be successful in your role and grow your career.

Here are a few of the things that will keep you busy:

  • Bring great people to the business, and set the team up for success, through your involvement in recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Be the go-to for team inquiries, delivering fast, friendly, and effective support / solutions
  • Help enable good decisions by maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records & data - providing your insight and support with reporting
  • Own the ‘fun stuff’ - delivering rewards, recognition, social programs, and events
  • Maintain and implement business policy, procedures, and guidelines
  • Help drive our teams success by supporting our annual people priorities, including performance, culture, engagement and community-focused initiatives.

Our satisfaction comes from the value we add, big or small, in helping our team to do their best.

Your profile:

As a recent HR graduate or someone who is just entering the People and Culture space, you’ve already gained valuable administrative experience and understand what what it takes to succeed in a fast-paced business environment.

With a keen eye for detail, and strong organisational skills, you take pride in ensuring all administrative tasks are handled accurately and efficiently, always demonstrating discretion and respect for confidentiality.

You're results-drive, confident in your communication skills, and you understand the importance of building strong relationships across all levels of the business. When tough conversations arise, you handle them calmly, and with empathy, maturity and professionalism.

We’re looking for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in a generalist HR role, where you'll have the chance to grow and make a meaningful impact!

What you'll love:

We know that when you are making a choice about developing your career, it is important to know who you’ll be learning from. You’ll be joining a team of knowledgeable professionals who will support you to grow strong, generalist HR skills. You’ll get opportunities to learn, challenge yourself, and take ownership of projects that interest and excite you.

At Henley, we truly value everything you do and want you to feel appreciated every step of the way. We’ll provide you with all the essentials you'll need, but there’s so much more:

  • Enjoy exclusive discounts when you buy or build a Henley, Plantation, or Edgewater home.
  • Discounts on everyday purchases through our valued suppliers and 400+ retailers
  • A hybrid WFH working model to help you find your ideal balance.
  • Recognition for your contributions through our KUDOS rewards program.
  • Enjoy our Henley Day – an additional day off to recharge.
  • A chance to make a difference through our philanthropic initiatives.

Join our team:

We are Henley, where everyone is welcome. We celebrate all cultures and know that the more diverse and inclusive we are, the better we can serve our community. We are proud to be part of the Sumitomo Forestry Group and our shared philosophy of fairness and integrity.

We look forward to welcoming you to our team!
