With a long history of creating professional career pathways for employees, we are excited to be on the lookout for an IT Service Desk Officer to join our National Service Desk team.  Work from our office in Mount Waverley, or if you're considering a move to Brisbane, we have an office there!

About the Role

As a Level 1 IT Service Desk Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our internal teams seeking technical assistance. Your role is crucial in ensuring our National teams’ IT systems run smoothly, and their issues are resolved promptly. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders, gain valuable experience, and grow your IT skills.

Working within the National Service Desk team you will:

  • Provide technical support via phone or email in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Assist with account management, password resets, and access control.
  • Log and track service requests and incidents in our ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex technical issues when necessary.
  • Provide timely updates and resolutions to customers
  • Document support procedures and create knowledge base articles.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to provide the best service possible

About You

You approach your work with empathy and patience, understanding that we all come with a diverse level of understanding when it comes to systems. You communicate confidently with others and pride yourself on delivering great customer service in every interaction. You’re cool under pressure and can manage your work to ensure that high priority items are addressed with a sense of urgency.

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in an IT Desktop/Helpdesk support role
  • You have completed study in an ICT related field
  • You’re confident working in a Windows environment with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, Cloud & more!
  • You have a current Drivers Licence
