The Opportunity:
Are you a passionate civil dams engineer/scientist looking for an exciting new challenge? Join our dynamic team and work on a variety of impactful projects, including:
- Dam surveillance services
- Dam risk assessment services
- Dam decommissioning and rehabilitation design
What You Bring:
- Team Player: You thrive in collaborative environments, working seamlessly with both engineers and non-technical team members.
- Leadership & Guidance: As a professional engineer or scientist, you lead projects within your expertise and are eager to learn from senior engineers when exploring new areas.
- Experience: You have at least 3 years of experience in dam/water projects producing designs, documentation reports, proposals and specifications to meet client requirements of projects of reasonable complexity
- Regulatory Knowledge: You have a solid understanding of ANCOLD requirements and the Water Management Amendment (Dam Works) Act 2015.
- Geotechnical Expertise: You have a related bachelor level qualification and broad knowledge of geology and geotechnical engineering and apply a deeper understanding of engineering and or geological principles to devise and deliver new approaches in order to solve more complex problems
- Cross-Team Collaboration: You excel at integrating into multi-disciplinary design teams to support project delivery.
- Project Management: You have knowledge in and experience of project management and assume responsibility for planning and managing small projects or parts of larger projects
- Communication Skills: You have well-developed and effective communication and interpersonal skills
