If you are passionate about your career and love your work, you will thrive here. Our client is now looking for a Legal Secretary to join their Commercial Litigation and Employment Law team.

(We are not considering a Paralegal or University Students for this role).

This is a busy role where you will be carrying out secretarial duties and document management for partners and solicitors, primarily within the above-mentioned areas.

Daily duties may include:

·       Prepare meetings, file notes, memos and other information relating to clients

·       Preparing monthly fee estimates for billings

·       Providing secretarial assistance to various business units in the practice when required

·       Address day-to-day email and diary management on behalf of partner, associate, and solicitor.

·       Attend to filing daily, plus photocopying and binding of documents, faxing documents, preparing post items,

·       Data entry onto Open Practice and Law Docs

·       Precedent development, maintenance, updates, and support.

·       Manage and maintain action lists

·       Preparing contracts, word processing, formatting documents, taking dictation

To be successful here, it’s essential that you have:

·         3–5-year experience within similar role with a legal practice

·         Typing speed is a minimum 80wpm

·         Understand Open Practice and Lawdocs

·         MS Word and Excel skills are strong

·         You possess a high level of knowledge of broad legal issues as they apply to the specific area of the practice.
