Electrical Site Supervisor - DIDO

PHE Mining is currently seeking a highly motivated Site Supervisor to join our Bathurst team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is your opportunity to utilise your skills and knowledge while working closely with our Superintendent to ensure our works are a success. PHE’s Mining undertakes works at Cadia mine, just outside of Orange, NSW. The role involves industrial electrical and instrumentation installations, plant maintenance, shutdowns, and general improvement works in both a surface and underground environment.

This is a local role, primarily Monday-Friday with excellent pay and consistent overtime.

The successful candidate will be provided with a fully maintained work vehicle, mobile phone and laptop.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Undertake project-specific tasks as appropriate and directed to you by the Superintendent
• Leading a team of Leading Hands and Electricians
• Lead by example for all to uphold a high standard of safety on site
• Report task status, including forecast outcomes with relation to time, cost, scope and quality, when required
• Maintain records of work-in-progress and communications in line with the project management methodology
• Participate in and inform project planning and auditing activities
• Oversee our apprentices, and ensure they are consistently learning and improving their standard of work

ABOUT YOU:

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

• Have a positive attitude and strong commitment to safety
• Enjoy problem-solving
• Previous experience in a Supervisory role
• Familiar with Microsoft Office 365 applications including Teams & Excel
• Experience in the use and interpretation of Project Scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera)
• Previous experience in job estimating and quoting
• Quality Management experience
• Budget management experience

LICENCES:

• Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
• NSW Electrical Licence
• High-risk work Licence EWP
• Working at Heights (Completed in the last 18 months)
• Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months)
• Current Unrestricted C Class Driver’s Licence
• White / Blue Construction Card
• Hazardous Areas preferred but not essential
