About the Role: Contracts Administrator

PHE is seeking a Contracts Administrator who thrives in a dynamic and rewarding work environment. This full-time position requires a proactive professional with exceptional attention to detail, a strong grasp of contractual and commercial principles, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

This role would suit a Cadet or Junior Contracts Administrator looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure contractual compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Monitor contractor performance, assessing progress claims, variations, and extensions of time (EOT) claims.
  • Support procurement, tender evaluation, and contract negotiation processes.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, registers, and communication records.
  • Identify risks and opportunities for improvement in work processes.
  • Assist in resolving contractual disputes and provide documented evidence to stakeholders.
  • Monitor compliance with safety and quality standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Prior experience as a Cadet Contracts Administrator in construction or mining
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in documentation management and contract governance.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a commitment to excellence.
