Are you a motivated, organised, and Administration Assistant who has the willingness to learn new skills and wants to continuously develop and improve your capabilities?

PHE is currently seeking a committed, driven, and enthusiastic Administration Assistant to join our growing logistics team in Fortitude Valley QLD.

THE ROLE:

As an Administration Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our logistics team with a variety of essential tasks, including:

  • Processing and Coordinating Shipping and Transportation Requests: Handle and coordinate shipping and transportation requests from clients. Ensure that all logistical details are accurately processed and communicated to relevant parties.
  • Maintaining Accurate Records of Shipments: Keep detailed records of all shipments, including tracking information and delivery statuses. Prepare and provide regular reports on shipment activities to ensure transparency and efficiency.
  • Communicating with Drivers, Warehouse Staff, and Customers: Act as a liaison between drivers, warehouse staff, and customers. Ensure clear communication to facilitate on-time deliveries and address any issues that arise during the transportation process.
  • Handling Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and maintaining documentation. Ensure that all records are accurately updated and easily accessible.

ABOUT YOU:

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in Logistics or a Similar Role: Practical experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Be proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software. Prior knowledge of fleet management and MYOB is favorable but not essential.
  • Strong Organisational and Time-Management Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving and Attention to Detail: Capable of resolving issues and maintaining accuracy.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
