PHE have a new opportunity for an experience underground Electrical Supervisor to join us on a project in the Northern Territory.
You will assist the Superintendent and work with the team to make the project a success with your skills and experience. You will demonstrate proven experience in a similar role and have the ability to deliver the project on time, whilst maintaining the great reputation the company holds with the client.
There is a great remuneration package on offer and an opportunity to expand your career in the mining industry. This role is based on a 2 and 1 roster at a remote underground mine site. Flights, camp accommodation and meals are supplied.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Undertake project-specific tasks as appropriate and directed to you by the Superintendent.
- Leading a Team of Leading Hands and Electricians
- Lead by example for all Safety on site
- Report task status, including forecast outcomes with relation to time, cost, scope and quality, when required
- Maintain records of work-in-progress and communications in line with the project management methodology
- Participate in and inform project planning and auditing activities
ABOUT YOU:
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- Have a great attitude
- Enjoy problem solving
- Excellent Leadership in Safety
- Minimum 3 years experience in a Supervisory role
- Previous underground mining experience
- Mining Supervisor (S123) desirable and not essential
- Microsoft Office 365 applications including Teams, Excel
- Experience in the use and interpretation of Project Scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera)
- Quality Management experience
- Budget management experience
The successful candidate will have:
- Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
- NT Electrical License
- High-risk work License (with WP class) desirable, but not essential
- Working at Heights (Completed in the last 16 months) desirable, but not essential
- Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months)
- Current Unrestricted C Class Driver’s License
- White / Blue Construction Card
