We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Superintendent with a strong mining background to join our team on an exciting project in South Australia. Your role:
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the electrical team and helping drive the project’s success. You’ll bring a strong commitment to safety, a passion for leadership, and the skills to keep the project on track, meeting client expectations around time, quality, and budget.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead a team of supervisors and set the standard for safety and performance on site
- Assist the Project Manager with daily operations and project delivery
- Monitor project progress and report on cost, scope, and schedule
- Review plans and drawings to support estimating and pricing strategies
- Maintain detailed records of work-in-progress and project communications
- Complete daily and weekly project reports
- Participate in project planning, reviews, and audits
About you:
- Positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Proven leadership in site safety and team management
- Minimum 3 years experience in a Supervisory role (mining experience preferred)
- Previous underground mining experience highly regarded
- Mining Supervisor certification (S123) desirable but not essential
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams)
- Experience interpreting project schedules (MS Project or Primavera)
- Quality assurance and budget management experience
The successful candidate will have:
- Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
- SA Electrical License
- Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months)
- Current Unrestricted C Class Driver’s License
- White / Blue Construction Card
Desirable but not essential:
- High-risk work License (with WP class)
- Working at Heights (Completed in the last 16 months)
