We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Superintendent with a strong mining background to join our team on an exciting project in South Australia. Your role:

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the electrical team and helping drive the project’s success. You’ll bring a strong commitment to safety, a passion for leadership, and the skills to keep the project on track, meeting client expectations around time, quality, and budget.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of supervisors and set the standard for safety and performance on site
  • Assist the Project Manager with daily operations and project delivery
  • Monitor project progress and report on cost, scope, and schedule
  • Review plans and drawings to support estimating and pricing strategies
  • Maintain detailed records of work-in-progress and project communications
  • Complete daily and weekly project reports
  • Participate in project planning, reviews, and audits

About you:

  • Positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
  • Proven leadership in site safety and team management
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Supervisory role (mining experience preferred)
  • Previous underground mining experience highly regarded
  • Mining Supervisor certification (S123) desirable but not essential
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams)
  • Experience interpreting project schedules (MS Project or Primavera)
  • Quality assurance and budget management experience

The successful candidate will have:

  • Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
  • SA Electrical License
  • Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months)
  • Current Unrestricted C Class Driver’s License
  • White / Blue Construction Card

Desirable but not essential:

  • High-risk work License (with WP class)
  • Working at Heights (Completed in the last 16 months)

Please note all your tickets and licenses MUST be current to commence on-site and be employed by PHE.
