A P&G Scrum Master will be responsible for:
- Understands basic fundamentals of iterative development.
- Delivers sprint plans with development and testing teams within agreed timelines, cost, and quality.
- Understands other processes and methodologies and can speak intelligently about them and leverages other techniques to provide value to ateam/enterprise
- Develops strong partnerships with product owners, architects and development leads to transform business objectives into execution strategy
- Understands basic fundamentals of software development processes and procedures.
- Understands incremental delivery and the value of metrics
- Understands backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition.
- Ensures adherence to scrum processes( Standups, Release plan, Sprint Planning, Reviews and Retros is done according to planned schedule).
- Must be familiar with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices.
- Must have rich experience working in an agile based fashion and should be highly aware of the pitfalls and guardrails.
- Experienced with project management and collaboration tools such as JiraAgile, Confluence etc.
- Usually works with 1 or 2 small-sized teams driving sprints.
- Should be aware of basic information security awareness protocols, software security in the SDLC lifecycle, and OWASP top 10 concept
Must have:
- Coach Agile team as scrum master to enable them to be effective and working with Agile principles.
- Coach agile teams to improve quality, speed, and team functioning.
- Collaboration & Communication skills to work with Agile team members and leadership.
- Facilitate and lead team meetings.
- Track progress of team towards plan and drive awareness of actuals vs. target.
- Work on several projects at one time.
