Your role as a General Manager Marketing will include :

  • Leadership: Lead a team of direct reports, providing guidance and support for their development and performance. Effectively lead and guide these direct reports to ensure their teams are well managed, held accountable in meeting the departmental goals
  • Strategy and Planning: Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and other key stakeholders to develop and oversee execution of the quarterly marketing program of work across consumer, business, digital, events and content. Proactively seek new opportunities to develop relationships across the business by creating value adding and revenue generating products.
  • Strategic Marketing Programs: Develop key marketing strategies and promotional programs to elevate Gold Corporation’s brand reputation and drive sales across Refinery, Treasury, Depository, Minted Products and Shop/Exhibition. Work closely with the Executive and Senior Leadership teams to develop viable cross selling initiatives aimed at driving revenue.
  • Brand Ownership: Develop brand strategy aimed at strengthening Gold Corporation’s brand and position across all key markets. Create and drive marketing initiatives that strategically align and identify with the brand.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and foster positive relationships and partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Customer Analysis and Reporting: Oversee the analysis and reporting of customer behaviour, metrics and insights across website, app and owned channels (email, socials). Use this data to create effective marketing strategies to meet the marketing and customer experience strategies.
  • Website Content and UX: Ensure website content is effectively managed including the planning of content and user experience to drive engagement and sales.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget in partnership with Finance and stakeholders to ensure effective spend management on people resources and marketing projects (including agency spend). 

Experience :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Extensive experience in a marketing based strategic leadership role.
  • International marketing experience is extremely desirable
