Your role as an Advisor People and Culture will involve: 

  • Provide a generalist advisory support to management and employees on the full life cycle of People and Culture.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with line managers in attracting, engaging, developing, and retaining their employees.
  • Guide and support managers in developing a sound business case for employee related matters.
  • Provide advice on a wide range of employee relations matters including industrial instrument, awards, relevant legislation, and policy interpretation.
  • Provide support to the General Manager, Team Lead and Business Partners in the provision of sound generalist advice to key stakeholders and the execution of People and Culture projects.
  • Guide and advise managers on any potential risks and legal implications which may arise from employee relations matters.
  • Provide fair and consistent management of non-complex grievances and disciplinary investigations.
  • Review and draft employment contracts, deeds, and formal letters.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant federal and state legislation.
  • Conduct research on industrial requirements to effect transformational change.
  • Support the annual salary review process, short term benefits scheme, and provide advice and support in the management of the remuneration framework, classifications, and salary recommendations.
  • Initiate and undertake project work as directed by the Team Lead People Operations.
  • Research, design and implement analytical tools to identify any issues and areas for improvement within the business.

We are looking for someone who has the following: 

  • Completion of a tertiary qualification in HR or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience gained in a generalist HR role.
  • Knowledge of Employment Legislation, Fair Work Act 2009, and National Employment Standards (NES)
  • Excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills
