We have a unique opportunity for a Major Airline Relationship Director to join our Commercial and Aviation team.


What you'll do:

· Develop and maintain a strong, strategic partnership between Perth Airport (PAPL) and a major airline.

· Coordinate all interactions, aligning goals and expectations between PAPL and the airline.

· Lead negotiations for commercial outcomes and contract variations.

· Facilitate consistent communication, involving all key stakeholders.

· Balance the needs of both PAPL and the airline, ensuring contractual commitments are upheld.

· Prepare and present business cases to the Executive team and Board.

· Resolve commercial disputes, strategically assessing risks and opportunities for all parties

· Serve as the primary point of escalation for any key challenges.

· Interpret and manage complex commercial contracts, ensuring all commitments are tracked, reported and coordinated internally.

 

About you:

· You excel at fostering strong, long-term partnerships with major clients, ensuring alignment and mutual success.

· Strong understanding of commercial dynamics, with proven experience in negotiating favourable terms and resolving complex disputes.

· Expertise in interpreting and managing intricate contracts, ensuring all commitments are tracked and met.

· Ability to proactively identify potential risks and implementing effective strategies to mitigate them, safeguarding business continuity.

· Proven ability to effectively convey complex information to various stakeholders, ensuring clear, consistent, and strategic communication.
