Our team are currently looking for an experienced and passionate Airfield & Airspace Planning Manager
What you'll do:
In this role, you will lead the Airfield & Airspace Planning team, ensuring effective planning of Airfield facilities to meet current and future demands. You will oversee activities to protect the Airspace around Perth Airport, maintaining a safe operating environment and supporting long-term growth.
Your role involves providing leadership, developing strategies, and building team capabilities. You will offer technical advice on aeronautical infrastructure, manage regulatory compliance, and engage with stakeholders to enhance efficiency.
Additionally, you will promote environmental and safety-conscious cultures, ensuring risks are identified and managed. Your expertise in planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement will be crucial in delivering the Airfield and Airspace Planning portfolio.
About you:
· Hold recognised professional qualifications in aviation, airport planning, or engineering.
· Possess a tertiary qualification in mathematics, science, or a related numerate discipline.
· Demonstrate advanced people management and supervisory skills.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge and application of legislation related to airfield and airspace planning.
· Skilled in data analysis techniques.
· Focused on delivering exceptional customer service.
· Understanding of contemporary planning techniques.
· Exhibit strong creative thinking, collaborative attitude, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
