Our team are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Environment Advisor – Operations and Planning

What you'll do:

You'll be practically engaging and influencing Perth Airport employees and stakeholders to support environmental operations.

  • Support the administration and co-ordination of the tenant environmental audit process.
  • Co-ordinate the tenant environmental risk assessment process to inform development of the FY 2024/25 audit programme.
  • Deliver Consent and permitting support, including Construction Environmental Management Plan reviews, Clearing Permit approvals and Fill movement forms.
  • Provide scoping and procurement support to reinvigorate the noise, air quality and weed management plans for the estate.
  • Contribute to periodic reporting to the Commonwealth Airport Environment Officer. 

About you:

A Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science or equivalent is preferred but demonstrated experience in undertaking and delivering work activities outlined may be considered in lieu of tertiary qualifications.

You are able to work as part of a team and autonomously. You think creatively to solve problems, and have a high level written and verbal communication We also expect you to be detailed orientated and enjoy data driven research.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in the Environment field, with prior operations & planning business units exposure, along with an understanding of working with contaminated sites. This role will require a high level strategic communication with all levels of employees both internally and externally to the business.
