Are you a driven Safety Advisor with a passion for remote infrastructure delivery and field-based safety leadership?
Join us on a critical water infrastructure upgrade located near Mackay, QLD. We’re seeking a contract Safety Advisor (FIFO from Brisbane or based locally in Mackay) to oversee HSEQ outcomes during construction.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting day-to-day site safety, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and audits
- Monitoring compliance with WHS legislation, internal policies, and client requirements
- Leading and participating in incident investigations and reporting
- Coaching and guiding site teams in safe work practices and behaviours
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum Cert IV in WHS; ideally Diploma WHS or equivalent
- Experience in safety leadership within civil, electrical, or infrastructure projects
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work a 14:7 FIFO roster (or locally based)
Contract Duration: June 2025 – April 2026
