Mō te tūnga | About the role:
As a Senior Test Analyst, you’ll be responsible for planning, executing, and maintaining quality assurance processes across multiple applications. You'll ensure that testing deliverables meet quality standards and are reusable and auditable. With a strong focus on automation, defect management, and UAT coordination, you’ll drive improvements and best practices in testing methodologies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining test strategies, plans, and execution frameworks
- Leading test execution activities for core business system changes
- Managing UAT phases and working with SMEs to develop business test scenarios
- Creating, reviewing, and maintaining test scripts, ensuring coverage and quality
- Driving test automation initiatives and ensuring efficient defect tracking
- Collaborating with IST team members, project managers, and business customers
- Identifying and mitigating risks that may impact deliverables
- Coaching and mentoring junior test team members
Tō kete | What you will bring to the role:
We are looking for an experienced Test Analyst with a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality assurance. The ideal candidate will also offer:
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, including manual and automation testing
- Strong experience in functional, non-functional, and system interface testing
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data reconciliation
- Experience managing business SME UAT testing phases
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., SmartBear)
- Knowledge of SharePoint applications is desirable
- ISTQB Advanced Certification or similar qualification preferred

The appointing salary range for this role is $93,167 to $102,863 per annum. Appointments will be based on skills and experience (please note, the full salary range extends beyond this to allow for tenure progression).
