Are you an engagement or events professional? We are looking for an outreach advisor specialising in engagement with Indian communities to join the National Leader’s Office, based in Auckland for 20 hours per week.

About the role:

As the Indian Community Outreach Advisor, you will develop and maintain a calendar of outreach opportunities to support National MPs in engaging with Indian communities across New Zealand.

You will have experience in event management, advocacy and/or community engagement and outreach. Your understanding of these communities and the political landscape will help you identify and analyse issues while providing advice on engagement related to these issues.

The pay band for the role starts at $75,000 per annum (pro rata) and appointments will be based on skills and experience. Employees are employed on an 'events based' agreement, with your employment linked to the Leader of the National Party.
