At Parliamentary Service, we work at the heart of democracy to provide excellent service to New Zealand's Members of Parliament. Our service includes our IST Group who is at the forefront of delivering and providing guidance around information systems, technology and communication services to key parliamentary entities including Parliamentary Service and The Office of the Clerk. 

Mō te tūnga |About the role:

Working within our passionate and collaborative team, you will play a key part in designing and building innovative solutions for our clients. As a senior within the team, you will contribute to the design of applications and features, help develop technical practices and standards, support and mentor other technical staff and provide advice on industry standards and emerging technologies. 

Tō kete | What you will bring to the role:

  • Strong experience in developing solutions in C# and .Net
  • Work experience in Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with web UI development like JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, Blazor.
  • Experience with Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps.
  • Sound fundamentals in software development patterns, architecture, and security best practices.
  • Knowledge on MS Graph and SharePoint Online is desirable.

The appointing salary range for this role is $121,112 to $126,005 per annum. Appointments will be based on skills and experience (please note, the full salary range extends beyond this to allow for tenure progression).
