About the role
Join our team at the Port Augusta Depot as an individual who will provide leadership, support, and guidance to terminal operations at Port Augusta, Whyalla and Cook.
Reporting to the Superintendent of Operations, you will play a key role leading and coordinating the day-to-day operations. This role has a strong emphasis on implementing safe working improvements, business improvements, cultural change and ensuring productive workplace practices and relationships.
In addition, the Terminal Supervisor is responsible for ensuring Pacific National trains and its staff operate safely and efficiently through consultation with Pacific National’s Integrated Planning Services department, ARTC Network Control, and other internal/external stakeholders.
About You
To be successful in this role, experience within the rail/heavy industry will be valuable (although not essential) – along with previous management, leadership and or customer facing experience. We are also looking for candidates who show respect, exude positivity and a natural leader when interacting with customers, leaders and other employees.
