About the role
As a Locomotive Train Driver at Pacific National, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of freight trains. You will also collaborate with internal teams to meet business and customer requirements, ensuring timely and reliable service to our customers. Your responsibilities will include preparing locomotives for operation by checking control systems and ensuring all compliance documentation is in order, operate and maintain trains in line with company procedures and safety standards, while continually supporting the achievement of safety goals. Throughout your role, you'll uphold Pacific National's core values of safety, integrity, accountability, and teamwork, contributing to a positive and high-performing work environment.
To be successful in this role, you must be a qualified driver with a Cert IV in Train Driving and industry relevant experience. You will prioritise safety above all else and work well within the team in Gunnedah or Narrabri.
