About the role

Working as part of one of our highly integrated teams you will be trained in a variety of tasks specific to the team/role that you will be assigned to based on your interests, skill set and availability. These roles include (but are not limited to):

• As an Asset Deployment Planner in the Short-Term Service Planning Team – Working with our Train Planners and maintenance providers to develop a maintenance plans.
• As a Labour Planner in the Short-Term Labour Planning Team - Building the daily crew plan to ensure all our train services are rostered with suitably qualified train crew.
• As a Service Delivery Controller in one of our four Day of Operations Service Delivery Teams Deliver services and ensure communication is maintained to key stake holders, you will focus on trains running to schedule and accurate and timely information is provided to all relevant parties in your area of responsibility.
• As a Customer Incident and Performance Officer in one of our four Day of Operations Service Delivery Teams you will support the team by providing administration, customer service and data integrity tasks.

About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll be expected to demonstrate effective problem-solving, and can prioritise your decision making according to the competing priorities you will be faced with!

In addition:

• Strong communication skills & ability to operate in a dynamic, team-based environment
• Intermediate Microsoft office and computer skills.
• Knowledge of transport, logistics planning and operations will be highly regarded, but is not essential
• Availability to work rotating 12hr day/night shifts (Availability on weekends would be preferable)
