About the role

This role supports Oscar Wylee, a global eyewear retailer and healthcare service provider with 140 stores across Australia, New Zealand and Canada. 

  • Prepare daily cash-flow reports and reconcile any variances.
  • Contact stores and investigating discrepancies related to EFTPOS, HICAPS, and cash transactions.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable and process refund payments.
  • Process credit card data and reconciling transactions.
  • Post Month end journals and assist on monthly accounts submission.
  • Post bank entries and preparation of bank reconciliation.
  • Assisting with any ad-hoc request from management.

About the person

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized University or Part Qualification in ICASL, ACCA, CIMA or CMA.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Proficient in Office 365, particularly Excel, with strong overall computer skills.
  • Microsoft Business Central experience is preferred, but not essential.
