Optical Dispenser and Keyholder - Galeries

At Oscar Wylee The Galeries, we're looking for an experienced Optical Dispenser to join our team in a permanent part-time role.

This role brings together optical healthcare, fashion and customer service. You'll use your optical knowledge to help customers find eyewear that suits their prescription, lifestyle and personal style while delivering a personalised experience from start to finish.

We're looking for someone with availability from Wednesday to Saturday who enjoys working in a collaborative, customer-focused retail environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide personalised eyewear styling and optical advice tailored to each customer
• Dispense lenses and frames according to prescriptions provided by our Optometrists
• Help customers select frames that complement their style, lifestyle and optical needs
• Build genuine relationships with customers and deliver an experience that keeps them coming back
• Apply your optical knowledge to provide accurate and confident recommendations
• Support the wider team with day-to-day store operations and opening and closing procedures
• Contribute to store performance while maintaining a strong focus on customer care

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous optical dispensing experience, or strong retail sales experience with an interest in developing their optical knowledge
• Has Wednesday to Saturday availability
• Is reliable and comfortable supporting store opening and closing procedures
• Has strong attention to detail and confidence working with measurements and prescriptions
• Communicates clearly and builds positive relationships with customers and teammates
• Enjoys combining customer care, fashion and technical product knowledge
• Brings a positive, proactive and collaborative approach to work
