Are you an experienced Occupational Therapy manager looking for an opportunity to expand on your clinical & people management expertise to have greater responsibility over strategic decisions, market growth & performance?

ORS are excited to announce a very rare opportunity for a talented Occupational Therapy manager to join the business as VIC State Manager – Occupational Therapy Services. This role can be based from one of our three locations in Melbourne – Coburg, Mount Waverley & Pakenham. In total ORS employs over 80 Allied Health staff across these three sites, with a quarter of those in the Occupational Therapy team.

You will be joining one of Australia’s largest family owned Allied Health providers with over 700 employees across Australia. In addition to the support you will receive from the Occupational Therapy Senior Leadership team, you will have access to well-resourced support services teams such as Administration, IT, Human Resources, Finance & OH&S.   

The Role:

This role will be responsible for the overall management and leadership of Occupational Therapy operations within Victoria. Reporting directly to the General Manager – Occupational Therapy Services, this is a great opportunity to expand your experience as a Senior Manager. As a State Manager you will be a key member of ORS’ Occupational Therapy Senior Leadership team, a division that currently employs over 120 Occupational Therapists nationwide with significant growth forecasted over the next three years.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day management & leadership of the Victorian Occupational Therapy team
  • Direct management of 2 x Regional Managers & overall responsibility of 21 Occupational Therapists across 3 sites in Melbourne
  • Manage the training and development of your team whilst working with Regional Managers & Team Leaders to ensure all employees are achieving their goals
  • Oversight to ensure your team meets quality and productivity KPIs
  • Completing report reviews for your teams
  • Develop business opportunities and build relationships with existing customers
  • Work with our corporate services teams to manage recruitment, onboarding & retention of staff
  • Continually look for process improvements in the business

Role requirements:

  • Management experience
  • High level administrative and communication skills
  • Occupational Therapy degree with at least 8 years’ experience
  • Significant NDIS experience is desirable
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and support a high performing team
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Travel as requested by Divisional Manager to OT sites within Victoria
