The Eatsense by ORS Dietetics team is expanding, and we are seeking our next clinician to join us! You will join be providing clinical services to a wide range of client types. You will work across early intervention, school age, adolescent and adult services with clients who have various presentations and diagnoses. Your clients will be a mixture of private, Medicare, DVA, Workcover and NDIS clients.
You will be required to manage a caseload of diverse clients across the lifespan presenting with a range of nutritional concerns within the private practice setting including those requiring assistance with weight concerns, fussy eating, childhood nutrition, preconception, fertility and pregnancy nutrition, menopause, osteoporosis, arthritis, endometriosis, IBS, IBD, thyroid disorders, general sports nutrition, mood disorders, hypercholesterolemia, hypertension, liver disease, kidney disease, coeliac disease, diverticulitis and general gut health and various disabilities.
The type of nutritional assessments, counselling, education, support and planning you will provide include:
- Childhood nutrition
- Women’s health including PCOS, endometriosis and fertility
- Healthy eating for chronic health conditions: Diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, IBS, IBD
- Healthy eating for people with a range of mental and/or physical disabilities
- Mealtime Management plans
You will primarily work across the Eatsense clinics and sometimes various environments, including family homes, schools, preschools, community settings and telehealth. You will have access to administration and IT support, That Clean Life- Online Meal Planning software, Medication and Nutrition database, online resources, Education In Nutrition (EIN), internal and external professional development opportunities, the opportunity for clinical specialisation as well as career progression.
A few requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience working as an Accredited Practising Dietitian
- Membership with the Dietitians Australia (Registered APD)
- Experience in Women’s and children’s health or a desire to work in this space
- Experienced working with people with disabilities or a desire to work in this space
- Some knowledge and experience in disability
- Previous report writing experience
- A car and driver’s licence
- A National Police Clearance, Working with Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to acquire one for client facing roles (or willingness to obtain one before commencement).
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to get along with others and work as a contributing member of a high-performing team.
- Ability to meet or exceed targets and deadlines.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to continuing professional development.
- Must have moderate to strong computer literacy skills including knowledge of Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

- Practical assistance and support by dedicated Onboarding and Retention Managers.
- Provision of online and practical Dietetic resources, assessments and interventions for clients including toys, games, sensory items etc.

- Mentoring and support through participation in multi-disciplinary team and case conferences
- Ongoing training/feedback on report writing by senior dietitians
- Immediate support and assistance from experts regarding client safety risks/concerns and client incidents
- Education In Nutrition and Calm app subscription.
